Software Engineer

Technical expert in one or more highly specialized areas of applications systems analysis and programming
Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written
Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents and maintains those programs. Competent to work on most phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities, but requires instruction and guidance in other phases.
Has full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming
Participates in full project development lifecycle.
Learns and applies existing and new system processes, methodologies, and skills that lead to new systems which contribute significantly to the business or department
Applies problem solving abilities to familiar and unfamiliar technical disciplines
Test programs, to include unit tests, usability testing, regression testing, system testing for all aspects of their program.
Develop positive, ongoing business relationships with the internal customer s management team, end users, and third parties striving to understand the customer s business issues and how Lawson products and services impact them.
